Legrand India Inaugurates Mega Manufacturing Facility In Nashik

Strengthening its footprint in India, Legrand India has inaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nashik—one of its largest plants globally and the biggest in India.

A Strategic Push For Manufacturing & Exports

Spread across 30,000+ sq. metres, the new facility marks a significant step in positioning India as a key manufacturing and export hub within Legrand’s global operations.

The plant will cater to both domestic demand and international markets, with exports already underway and plans to expand across multiple product categories.

Focus On Data Centre Growth

A major share of production from this unit will be dedicated to solutions for the rapidly growing data centre segment, a core strategic focus for Legrand worldwide.

This move aligns with the rising demand for robust digital infrastructure, positioning Nashik as a crucial contributor to future-ready technology ecosystems.

Advanced Product Portfolio

The Nashik facility will manufacture:

  • Busbar trunking systems

  • Distribution boards

  • Racks

  • Cablofil cable trays

  • Industrial plugs and sockets

These products play a vital role in power distribution and infrastructure development.

Strengthening Integrated Solutions

The expansion further enhances Legrand India’s capabilities in the data centre space, supported by organic growth and acquisitions like NetRack.

This enables the company to offer end-to-end solutions, combining power distribution with digital infrastructure—making it a strong player in India’s evolving tech landscape.
